Friday (and Sukhmani Sahib) Langar Sewa Checklist

GGSF management welcomes and appreciates the sewa by any individual/family during Friday Evening diwan. Friday Langar sewa includes the following Responsibilities.

1. KARAH PRASAD( Items to be supplied by the family to Bhai Sahib for Karah Parsad)
2 lbs butter (unsalted/sweet), 2 Ibs wheat flour and 2 Ibs sugar.

2. PREPARATION OF LANGAR
Following items and quantities are recommended:
8 lbs Daal
30 lbs Subzi (mixed vegetables, Alloo Gobhi, saag etc.)
2-gallon yogurt
6 lbs salad (option)
Onion and pickle mix (option)
2 gallon Kheer or sweets for 70-80 people (optional)
Rice 10 lbs
1 Bag of Atta
Milk and sugar for Tea (optional)

3. SUPPLIES FOR LANGAR
Paper products, Trash Liners etc. will be provided by GGSF at a nominal charge.

4. CLEANING ALL POTS, PANS AND KITCHEN
Please clean all pots and pans and serving items such as buckets and serving spoons, making arrangements for any extra items (leftovers).
Kitchen Floor needs to cleaned and mopped. Grill and oven area needs to be cleaned. Trash has to be put away. (This is a must item to keep Gurdwara Sahib clean)

5. CLEANING THE LANGAR HALL
Vacuuming of the Langar Hall (The vacuum cleaner is available in the Langar Hall maintenance room)
Vinyl mats in the Langar Hall needs to be mopped cleaned.

NOTE
In addition to the above items, GGSF management requests family responsible for Friday langar sewa to donate $101.00 to Gurdwara Sahib. (This is primarily to cover the cost of the utilities and the Paper Products etc. Your cooperation is highly appreciated.)

Sunday (Main Diwan) Langar Sewa Checklist

Special Functions includes the following Responsibilities.

Suggested 1 or 2 items from any of the following:
Bread and butter, Small Muffins, Bagel and cream Cheese, Stuffed bread patties, Whole wheat cereal, (dalia), Yogurt and rotis.
Cholle, (Chick Peas) 8 lbs or 4 Big Chick peas cans and Pita bread.And or fruit.
